This coffee from the Los Higueron coffee farm in Costa Rica is very balanced, with notes of cocoa and toffee in the taste.
Costa Rica Los Higuerones – Obata
Inka Paahtimo roasts coffee orders twice a week. Orders made by Tuesday 8am are shipped on Wednesday and orders made by Friday 8am are shipped on Monday. Posti’s delivery time is 2-4 business days in Finland.
Finca Los Higuerones takes its name from the huge Higuerones (golden fig) trees, which have visible roots and grow on the north-east side of the farm. This 18-hectare farm, located at an altitude of 1250 metres, is managed by Martin Padilla and Coopelibertad. Finca Los Higuerones is certified as a Nama Café, a project in Costa Rica that focuses on reducing the environmental impact of coffee cultivation and processing.
The Obata variety is descended from Sarchimor and Mundo Novo. The Obata variety is known to produce high yields while being resistant to Coffee Leaf Rust. However, it is demanding in terms of nutrients and management.

A high quality Kenyan medium roast coffee, decaffeinated using the Carbonic Natural® method. This coffee is at its best as filter coffee. You can find berry and fruity notes in the flavour.
