Addis Abeba is a very dark roast, high quality organic coffee. It comes from the birthplace of coffee: Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Roasted by Mokkamestarit, the coffee is almost extremely dark — a so called latin dark roasting level. The beans are shiny, because the natural oils have risen to the surface during the roasting. The acidity is almost completely gone. Nevertheless, there is a tingling sensation on the tongue amidst the roastiness. Once cooled down, one can find currants in the coffee.

Preservation: An unopened package stays good until the best before date. Use an opened package withing 2-3 weeks. Keep in a dry, cool place protected from light.
