The range of coffees and the skill behind the roast at Kahwe from Tampere makes it a roastery whose name is not to be forgotten. Joel Marttala, Kahwe’s roastmaster and managing director, spent 6-7 years as a barista at the Tampereen Kahvipaahtimo’s café. Before that, being a restaurant chef was also a strong passion and potential career choice for him, in addition to coffee. However, 2013 changed his plans with the arrival of his first child and coffee became a more sensible choice for his future. Kahwe Roastery is for anyone interested in coffee.
