Reija Paakkinen and Mika Hannuniemi were wild young friends united by a passion for coffee. Both were uncertain about their future, until a shared passion for coffee crystallised into the idea of a coffee and tea shop. From the start, the dream was to do things their own way, especially roasting their own coffee. At the time, the young people did not yet know that they were changing the Finnish coffee culture. Mokkamestarit, founded in 1990, is the oldest functioning artisan roastery in Finland. Their coffee selection is extremely broad, including single origin coffees, coffee blends and seasonal flavoured coffees. Mokkamestarit also owns one of the most impressive roasting arsenal in Finland.
Mokkamestarit roasts coffee every day. Coffees ordered by 9.00 am will be shipped from the roastery on the next working day. Posti’s delivery time in Finland is approximately 2-4 working days.
