In 1988 Monica Borges left her job as a psychologist and started to grow coffee in her 7ha farm in Minas Gerais region in Brazil. Today Monica has a 382ha farm in the mountainous Minas Gerais region. Besides the high quality, also preserving nature is close to Monica’s heart. Her fazenda is one of the first carbon neutral coffee farms in the whole world.
