Fazenda Monte Alto is a part of the Fazenda Ambienta Fortaleza project Bob-O-Link. The farmers that are a part of this project are independent smallholders, who have committed to produce high-quality coffee and aim towards organic production.

The coffee is grown and dried at the farms, after which it is delivered to a shared washing station, where it is processed to sale quality. The process is Pulped Natural, which is similar to the Honey process in Central America. In this process, the coffee is dried with the “honey” that is inside the coffee bean which results in a lower acidity than the traditional Washed coffee usually has.
