Gran Palomar is the crown jewel of Cafetoria Roastery. The first lot of the Gran Palomar coffee arrived in the Helsinki harbour in 2003. This aromatically unique coffee conquered the hearts of Finnish coffee lovers immediately, and for a good reason. Grown high with the traditional methods from the Incas, in the region between the Andes and Amazon, the coffee is harmonious and a combination of rich softness and refined sweetness. Gran Palomar makes even a small coffee moment a pleasure. Gran Palomar is grown in Peru by relatives of Cafetoria Roastery’s founder and roast master Ivan Ore.
Gran Palomar is the result of a project that we started in 2003 with a small group of coffee producers from the central Jungle of Peru. We are proud to have started a long relationships with these producers that goes beyond Direct Trade since we have established a relationship based on trust, mutual grow and loyalty on the difficult times.
Taste has a nuance of sweet chocolate, nuts and marzipan.
