Wood Grouse Rösterei
Roaster: Arno Auer
Orlando’s connection to coffee runs deep, rooted in a family tradition that shaped his early years on a coffee farm. Continuing this legacy, many of his relatives are also involved in coffee cultivation. Orlando is very proud of his farm, Pan de Azúcar, spanning 3.5 hectares with half of it situated in a mountain forest. Reflecting on his journey, Orlando expresses immense pride in supporting his family through coffee farming, particularly in providing his daughters with educational opportunities, a source of great happiness for him. Pan de Azúcar benefits from its strategic location, drawing water directly from the mountain range through an aqueduct to nurture the coffee plants. This coffee is quite delicate, even white tea-like. You can find layered notes of citrus, plum, blackberry, and stonefruit.
