Daterra Estate is located in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The farm sits at around 1,100 metres above sea level, where the average annual temperature is approximately 25°C, providing ideal conditions for coffee cultivation.
Daterra is a large and highly developed estate with advanced infrastructure. It is divided into 215 mini-farms and further into 2,816 individual plots. More than a dozen coffee varieties are grown on the estate, and rainfall, plant growth and productivity are systematically monitored across the different plots.
Daterra coffees are known for their balanced, full-bodied and low-acidity character, with caramel-like and citrusy aromas. The estate continuously develops more ecological farming practices and invests in responsible production. Many Daterra coffees have also been successful in barista competitions around the world.
