Unión de Cooperativas Agropecuarias San Juan del Rio Coco (UCA SJRC) takes coffee quality seriously. Small farmers bring their coffee to the cooperative’s central drying station, which ensures optimal conditions and avoids quality defects. The cooperative operates in five different regions of northern Nicaragua and helps its producers to grow coffee responsibly and profitably. The coffee has a nutty, caramel and apple flavour.
