Colombia Finca La Esmeralda comes from a small Colombian estate comprised of about 12 hectares and 40 000 coffee plants of the Castillo variety. The roastery Helsingin Kahvipaahtimo has acquired this coffee directly from the farmer. They chose this particular coffee over many sampled coffees due to its complex and refined taste. One can find sweet roasted maltiness, soft stone fruits and berries in this coffee. The mouthfeel is full and velvety.
