This expressive natural Gesha comes from the highlands of Huila, Colombia. Produced by Lisandro Cardenas Castro at Finca Las Brisas. The cup offers a refined yet fruit-driven profile: Winegum and cacao sweetness, jammy cherry and apple cider tones, supported by a sparkling lemon like acidity and soft red grape aftertaste. A vibrant and elegant microlot that highlights both variety, terroir and processing.

Lisandro Cardenas Castro grew up in coffee, he describes becoming a producer as something he “inherited” from his father. After studying coffee production at SENA (Colombia’s National Learning Service), he established his own farm nearly a decade ago.

Finca Las Brisas spans approximately five hectares, with 4.5 hectares planted with coffee in volcanic and sandy loam soils typical of the region. Alongside Caturra and Pink Bourbon, Lisandro cultivates Gesha, focusing on meticulous harvesting, careful processing, and microlot-level quality. Located in Acevedo, Huila, one of Colombia’s most dynamic coffee regions, the farm reflects the resilience and craftsmanship that define the area’s smallholder producers.
