Sookoo – Ethiopia
Weingummi・Rosehip・Lime Sorbet
19 grams
Radiant, juicy, and full of character, Sookoo from Guji, Ethiopia, is a true gem. Expect a vibrant, fruity acidity and a complex aroma profile of red berries, citrus fruits, and velvety sweetness. Each sip combines elegance and intensity – a coffee that reflects both origin and indulgence in perfect balance.
In the lush highlands of Guji in southern Ethiopia, a coffee is created that captivates from the very first sip. Sookoo Coffee is founded by Ture Waji, affectionately called the “King of Guji” – blends traditional craftsmanship with responsible trade. The beans come from smallholders who cultivate their plants organically and with full transparency.
Each coffee cherry is hand-picked and dried for about three weeks on raised drying beds. The result is a clear, juicy, and lively cup with pronounced fruit acidity, notes of red fruits, citrus, and a velvety body.
The name Sookoo means “gold” and that’s exactly how coffee is understood there: as a treasure that provides the people of Guji with livelihood, pride, and resilience.

El Refugio – Colombia
Nectarine・Plum・Jasmine
19 grams
Delicate, floral and remarkably balanced, this washed Geisha from El Refugio showcases the elegance that has made the variety world-famous. In the cup, you’ll find bright notes of nectarine, plum and jasmine, carried by a clean structure and a silky, tea-like body. A refined coffee for those who appreciate subtlety and precision.
El Refugio lies in the lush highlands of Villamaría, Caldas, in the heart of Colombia’s historic Coffee Cultural Landscape. Since 2020, the Agudelo-Uribe family has transformed the former pastureland into a thriving specialty-coffee farm.
Working with an agroforestry system, the farm uses native shade trees to protect its plants, improve soil health and support biodiversity. This careful approach results in coffees that are both expressive and environmentally responsible.
Ripe cherries are hand-picked, floated to remove defects, and fermented for around 24 hours after pulping. The parchment is then washed clean and dried slowly on raised beds, ensuring maximum sweetness and purity. The result is a cup that shines: clean, floral and transparent, with a long, elegant finish.
