Orders from Kahwe are sent fresh to customers twice a week. Orders placed by 11pm on Sunday are shipped from the roastery the following Tuesday, and orders placed by 11pm on Wednesday are shipped on Friday. Posti’s delivery time in Finland is approximately 2-4 working days.

This is the decaffeinated coffee in the MAD series. In the cup, you can discover notes of creamy toffee, plum, and vanilla. A coffee you can enjoy in the dark hours of the night without feeling too energised. Medium-bodied in mouthfeel.

The Mountain Water decaffeination method is a natural, chemical-free way to remove caffeine from coffee beans while preserving their aromas and flavour profile. The process uses pure mountain water.

The Mountain Water process is a water-based decaffeination method where:

pure mountain water is used to dissolve the caffeine
no chemical solvents are used, unlike in methods such as methylene chloride or ethyl acetate processing
the coffee’s natural aromas and oils are preserved
caffeine is removed through activated carbon filtration
the water is recycled, making the process more environmentally friendly
The beans are soaked in mountain water, allowing the caffeine to begin dissolving into the water.
The water is filtered through activated carbon, which removes the caffeine while leaving the flavour compounds intact.
The beans are soaked again in this flavour-rich but caffeine-free water, helping them retain their aromas.
The beans are then dried and polished, ready for roasting.
