Palin Estate is a very small coffee estate that produces only about 100 bags of coffee per year. One bag of coffee holds usually about 60 kg of green beans, so the net production is about 6000 kg in a year. The coffee from the estate is of high quality and the owner Carolina Padilla works tirelessly to improve it.

Lasse Wuori from Kaffe Obscura has roasted this coffee with Finland’s first Loring Smart Roast coffee roaster. Loring is often called the Rolls Royce of roasters. Slurp’s subscribers are amongst the first who get to try the coffee roasted with one. In general, with a Loring one can achieve a relatively clean and bright taste for the coffee.
