In El Naranjal, the caturra and castillo bushes grow in small plots at very high altitudes of 1800 to 2000 metres among banana, lemon and avocado trees.
Country: The Natural treatment is done experimentally by dry fermenting the beans first in an airtight tank with polyethylene for 12-hour periods over seven days. The beans are then dried in a three-week process, first in mechanical dryers and finally in the sun.
