Ethiopia Gebena GR1 is a first grade coffee that possesses character. The coffee has grown at an exceptionally high altitude in more than 2300 meters. This causes the berries to ripen very slowly, which adds depth to their taste. The name Gebena comes from the traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, where the coffee is served from a ceramic pitcher that is called Gebena or Jebena.
