A juicy and smooth coffee from the Cerrado Mineiro region, one of Brazil’s most important coffee-growing areas and home to around 4,500 coffee producers. Coffee in the region is grown at altitudes of approximately 1,100–1,200 metres.
The natural processing method gives the coffee a pleasant sweetness. In this process, the coffee cherries are dried whole on patios until they become raisin-like. This allows the beans to absorb plenty of natural sugars from the fruit. Once dried, the beans are mechanically separated from the dried fruit.
This coffee works wonderfully both as espresso and as a darker filter coffee.
