The Gidey Berhe farm is in the Limu Kossa region, right at the western border of Ethiopia. Gidey cultivates his coffee in the altitude of 1840-2130 meters above sea level. The coffee grows among a forest that is almost in the natural state on this well-tended farm. During harvest, the seasonal workers handpick the coffee before wet processing it. Coffee at Punainen Kirahvi is roasted in small batches to bring its flavours properly out.
